Fire Island started with a vision given to me by God in 1982 to reach youth for the purpose of training and encouraging them to evangelize their schools and their neighborhood with the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is achieved through youth events scheduled throughout each year. The events are for youth of all ages. Fire Island is an event that will include teaching, encouragement, entertainment, music, and one on one ministry. We no longer do youth camps but have a music ministry with the band FireStruck. We will do youth rallies and concerts.
1. We believe in the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit; these three, yet one God. Matt. 28:19
2. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, infallible and should be read, taught, studied, and proclaimed. II Tim. 3:16 1 Tim. 4:13
3. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He is God in the flesh and salvation comes only through the acceptance of Him as personal savior. Jn. 14:6 Rom. 10:9
4. We believe that God loved the world so much, He sent his son, Jesus Christ, to die on a cross to pay the penalty for our sins so we could have forgiveness. Jesus also rose from the dead in the flesh on the third day. He now sits at the right hand of the Father. Jn. 3:16 Mr. 16:19
5. We believe that as Christians we should choose to walk in the love of the Father and the unity of the body as to overshadow all offenses. Psalms 133:1 Ephe. 4:3-6 Jn. 17:20-23
